Sinclair Spectrum+2 - 1986
This came with a new colour (grey) and a new owner after Sinclair were sold to Amstrad. Despite the fact the computer was growing old, they managed to give it a new lease of life. Firstly, they added an internal tape recorder which removed all the last difficulties of using tape and secondly, they replaced the keyboard with a better one which you really could type on. Apart from that, it was just a Spectrum128 and showed just how easy it was to dramatically improve a computer.
